LABOROTORY TECHNICIAN
Trace Elements Analysis Laboratory (TEA-Labs) is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of a Laboratory Technician at its Radiation Laboratory.
EMPLOYMENT: FULL TIME
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors or honours degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related National diploma in Chemistry also applicable.
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.National Diploma graduates: relevant work experience of 2-4 years.
- Added advantage if there is experience in the mining
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Must be able to work in a team and with a diverse group of
- Knowledge of 1S0/IEC 17025 – Quality management systems and performs various testing techniques in accordance with 1S0/IEC 17025.
- Proficient in chemistry analytical techniques and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Inventory Management
- Proficient in MS Office suite
Added Advantages
- Driver’s License
- Radiation Safety Certificate (Level I, II or III) is an added advantage
