TEA Metallurgical Laboratories (TEA Labs), a division of Trace Elements Analysis Laboratories (Pty) Ltd, is a premier Namibian-based analytical laboratory dedicated to delivering scientific excellence in support of the mineral and environmental sectors. Our Swakopmund-based facility houses world-class metallurgical services and analytical operations, supporting mining and research industries across Namibia and beyond.
We are seeking four meticulous and reliable Data Entry Clerks to join our growing administrative and laboratory support team. These roles are ideal for candidates with high attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in handling large volumes of data.
Location
Swakopmund, Namibia
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and verify analytical and laboratory data into designated systems.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of records across databases and reports.
- Assist with document control, filing, and archiving laboratory information.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly data summaries as required.
- Support laboratory teams with administrative and reporting tasks.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 with strong passes in Mathematics and English (essential).
- A certificate or diploma in Office Administration, IT, or related field will be an advantage.
Experience
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in data entry or office administration.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIMS) will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and error-checking ability.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Strong organisational skills and time management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Good communication skills.
