TEA Metallurgical Laboratories (TEA Labs), a division of Trace Elements Analysis Laboratories (Pty) Ltd, is a premier Namibian-based analytical laboratory dedicated to delivering scientific excellence in support of the mineral and environmental sectors. Our Swakopmund-based facility houses world-class metallurgical services and analytical operations, supporting mining and research industries across Namibia and beyond.

We are seeking twenty-eight reliable and hardworking Operators to support our laboratory and metallurgical operations. These roles focus on practical, hands-on tasks such as sample handling, preparation, and assisting technical teams to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with quality standards.

Swakopmund, Namibia

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
  • Operate basic laboratory equipment under supervision.
  • Assist technicians and supervisors in sample processing and handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory and operational areas.
  • Follow safety, health, and environmental protocols at all times.
  • Report equipment faults, irregularities, or safety concerns to supervisors.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 with passes in Mathematics and Science (essential).
  • Additional vocational training in laboratory operations or related fields will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in laboratory, industrial, or mining environments (preferred but not essential; training will be provided).

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Physical fitness to handle repetitive tasks and standing work.
  • High level of integrity and teamwork.
